Gov. Tim Walz signed an executive order today ensuring people who seek and receive gender-affirming care in the state have protection under the law: "We will meet anyone, anywhere in court to defend the rights of transgender community."

Russian museum, Ukrainian art. Inside the Minneapolis museum, some of the art is frenzied, aggressive and confrontational; a sign of the times: "She shows us scenes including a bombed-out Kyiv; a burning home with laundry still hanging on the line; fields red with blood. People are absent."
⛵ Marina fire heavily damages two boats in Inver Grove Heights
Firefighters found a 50-foot boat engulfed in flames at a slip in the marina. The flames also spread to another adjacent boat. One firefighter fell into the 38-degree water at the scene and had to be rescued, but was unhurt.
