Minneapolis city officials outline plans to address awful pothole season
This isn't news: The potholes this year are bad. What is news: Minneapolis is doing something about it. Crews are working extra hours to get roads patched up this week, with a more-permanent solution coming as the weather warms.

Snow caves into a mall
Authorities respond to roof collapse at Duluth's Miller Hill Mall
More holes: Nobody's hurt after the roof at Duluth's mall earlier today, just before doors opened to the public. Authorities haven't said why, but the area has seen 40 extra inches of snow this season compared to the average at this juncture.

🥪Legislature primed to serve up lunch money for Minnesota students
Free school meals for all Minnesota students are closer to reality following a Minnesota Senate vote Tuesday. It would use part of the state’s budget surplus to cover a basic breakfast and lunch each day.
⚖️ Minn. U.S. attorney charges 10 more people in Feeding Our Future case
The charges are spread across multiple indictments and criminal information documents, and include charges of conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering, and bribery.
🚰 'Historic moment': EPA to limit toxic 'forever chemical' PFAS in drinking water
The Environmental Protection Agency proposed some big changes today: the first-ever federal limits on harmful "forever chemicals" in drinking water. They would set strict limits for two common types of PFAS and regulate others.
⛓️ Feds drop pursuit of death penalty for Alfonso Rodriguez Jr.
He was convicted for the 2003 abduction and murder of college student Dru Sjodin in North Dakota and Minnesota, and was originally sentenced to death 2007. He'll spend the rest of his life in prison.
