Auditor's report finds Southwest Light Rail project has governance issues
The 14.5-mile Southwest Light Rail construction project, between Minneapolis and Eden Prairie? It's already hundreds of millions of dollars over budget — and years behind schedule. The Met Council committed to money it didn't have, made substantial changes to the project after it was bid, and hasn't been fully transparent about the project's cost and delays.

It's-a-me, Mario's shoe: Red Wing makes boots inspired by video game character
Mario, the mustachioed and red-hatted Italian plumber who first appeared in Donkey Kong in 1981 and has since appeared in over 200 video games, is enjoying another moment in the limelight. In April, he'll be in an animated movie. Ahead of this, Minnesota-based Red Wing Shoes has constructed a pair of the character’s iconic boots.
