Biden touts clean energy spending, jobs in Minnesota visit
President Joe Biden said his efforts to secure federal funding for clean energy projects are creating thousands of Minnesota jobs and encouraging private investment in manufacturing, while at the same time helping to reduce emissions that are causing the climate to change.

U president Gabel leaving for University of Pittsburgh post
The University of Pittsburgh announced Gabel has accepted the position of chancellor and would be the first woman in that position. She was also the first woman president at the U of M, and leaves amid financial controversy.

🏫 Hamline president caught up in Muslim art controversy to retire
Hamline University's president Fayneese Miller will leave her post effective June 30, 2024. Miller faced widespread criticism over how she handled a controversy involving an image of the Prophet Muhammad shown in an art history class.
🤸 Suni Lee suspends training amid health concerns; still eying Paris Olympics bid
She is dealing with a health issue related to her kidneys. But the St. Paul native and 2020 women’s all-around gymnastics champion said she's still aiming for next year’s Olympic games in Paris.
🏥 Fairview, Sanford push health systems merger plan back to at least August
It comes amid pushback and calls for the state to exclude the U from the merger. They first made public their plans to combine in November. Since then, there have been concerns about how the merger would affect health care access in the state.
🚂 Trains running again on western Minnesota rail line, derailment investigation continues
Trains are running again through Raymond, Minn. after last week's derailment and evacuation. An investigation on what caused it is ongoing.
🌴 iPhone says 80s next week? Careful where you get your Minnesota weather
If you woke up to your phone predicting 80°F next week, don't get your hopes up. It's highly unlikely. Take this as example A that those iPhone numbers can be off. Not to toot our own horn... but nothing beats your local meteorologist's forecast!
💲 Pay bumps ahead for governor, judges and other state leaders
The salary increases, some of which were folded into a budget bill at the Capitol on Monday, include the first raises for the governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state auditor and lieutenant governor since 2016.
