At 'freedom rally' conservative groups push back on DFL priorities
Conservative Minnesotans rallied at the Capitol today, opposing early legislation on abortion, gender-affirming care and gun restrictions that Democrats have put forward. "Minnesota has 100 percent changed from the Minnesota I grew up in. And that's why so many people are leaving."

We talked to the MN DNR about the tragic eaglet fall. The nest it was in? It was more than 20 years old — and estimated to weigh more than 2,000 pounds — so the drop wasn't entirely surprising.

💉 FDA will let some adults get a second boost of the bivalent COVID-19 shot
A second omicron-variant booster will be allowed for folks 65 and older who got their first shot of the bivalent vaccine at least four months ago.  The decision also includes those with weakened immune systems who got a shot at least two months ago.

A St. Cloud–based publishing company is releasing books with an emphasis on diversity in an effort to encourage more people to read and learn about their cultures. It was founded after seeing a lack of representation for Somali children in children's books.
