After a rain shower chance Friday night, dry weather is expected across most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin Saturday and through Saturday night. Some rain showers could move into western Minnesota Sunday morning. Eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin could see rain showers at times Sunday afternoon. Get the latest on Updraft.

Asphalt plant ready to help crews fill potholes as St. Paul residents report much more damage
St. Paul's first priority is filling the most dangerous potholes. Then they will focus on arterial and collector streets and lastly, residential roads. Previously, the city used a smaller stash of more durable “hot-mix” to fix streets. Residents reported a staggering number of claims this year.

New health commissioner looks to advance health equity in Minnesota
Dr. Brooke Cunningham was appointed in January as the new commissioner for the Minnesota Department of Health, replacing Jan Malcolm. Previously, Cunningham was assistant commissioner of healthy equity. All Things Considered checked in with Cunningham about her vision for the department as it emerges from a public health emergency.

🚒Popular Minneapolis restaurant Owamni closed after electrical fire
Chef Sean Sherman says the restaurant was not damaged, but there was significant damage to the building's electrical system. There were no injuries. The reopening date is TBD.
⚠️Authorities searching for missing father, young son in Mankato, Minn.
Authorities in Mankato, Minn. are asking for help in locating a man and his young son who’ve been missing for about two weeks. Walter Brown, 29 and his son Koran, 2, were last seen when they left a home on Pohl Road on the city's southeast side.
🚨Reward offered for info in 'suspicious' disappearance of Winona woman
Winona police continue asking for help finding 26-year-old Madeline “Maddi” Kingsbury, and her family is now offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts. People along County Road 12 and State Highway 43 should be extra alert.
