Winning elections is tough, hard work, and everyday we see how critical electing Democrats is to advancing our values and protecting the future of Oregon and America. We win elections because of you– volunteers and donors who honor your party with your votes, your time and your contributions.

We honor your support by building a tough, strong party – built to win & built to last – and we do that by starting now, building the grassroots organizing team, technology and voter outreach programs that win Oregon elections.

We are already building and expanding our Get-Out-The-Vote grassroots programs, like our Neighborhood Leader Program. In 2022 alone, we recruited over 2,100 volunteer Neighborhood Leaders who reached out to over 120,000 Democrats by door, phone and mail, and 90% of those contacted turned out to vote!

Year in and year out, this program–matched with the efforts of thousands and thousands of campaign volunteers–has given us the winning edge to win tough elections statewide. To prepare for the 2024 elections, we need to build our Neighborhood Leader Program now!

And we’re kicking off our powerful 2023 Local Elections Project this month!

The Local Elections Project gives Democratic candidates the training, resources, and tools they need to win their races. We’ll train candidates and local party leaders all across Oregon before local elections this spring.Since this program began we’ve trained over 560 campaign activists in 29 counties and supported 477 candidate campaigns. And over 80% of local Democratic candidates who’ve filed have won their elections!

Our work - and our wins - are only possible because of your support joined by the whole Democratic team. And when we win, we elect Democrats who push to rebuild our economy, make healthcare more affordable and accessible, expand voters’ rights, defend reproductive rights, reverse the effects of climate change, and ensure civil rights for all Americans.

In 2022, Oregon Democrats won because we had a roadmap to victory, and we laid the foundations early. To win in 2023 and 2024 we must launch our plans for victory today, not in six months or a year. 

In Oregon, Democrats must continue to invest in grassroots organizing and focus on strong voter turnout in every election because, as we’ve seen, when voter turnout is high, Democrats win.
