Happy Statehood Day! On this day in 1896, Utah was admitted to the union as the 45th state.

The partial government shutdown is now 14 days old. If the impasse lasts until next Saturday, it will officially become the longest in U.S. history.

Executive summary: Lee says Democrats are being unreasonable by not funding Trump's border wall. McAdams doesn't vote for Pelosi as Speaker. Democrats have started talking about impeaching Donald Trump.
