| So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

| | | | Dear Friend,
11 years is a long time ... especially for a young girl.
But when our Angel Tree volunteer met Emmy last Christmas, that’s how long it had been since she last heard from her mom, who’s in prison.
Our volunteer had brought Christmas gifts for Emmy (I’ve changed her name to protect her privacy) from her mom. As they prayed together, Emmy began sobbing. And who could blame her? 11 years IS a long time.
Emmy opened her gifts and laid the wrapping paper on the table, then began ever so carefully tearing it into neat little pieces. When asked what she was doing, she said she wanted to save the Angel Tree tag. “It has a message from my mom,” Emmy explained. | |
| Children of prisoners want nothing more deeply than to be reunited with their moms and dads. But that’s impossible when their parents are locked up. And so the message of love and care that comes with an Angel Tree gift is the next best thing. | | | Multiply your generosity now so that TWICE as many prisoners’ children can receive a gift and the Gospel! | | | |
|
| | Your gift will help TWICE as many children Last year, Angel Tree partners helped give children like Emmy something they’ll long remember—a gift chosen just for them, and an Angel Tree gift tag with a parent’s message of their love.
Thanks to a matching grant, each $16.50 you give right now will be DOUBLED, up to $5,000, to help connect not just one, but two children, with their imprisoned parents. And with that gift, you’ll also help bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to each child.
You can help provide this incredible gift at Christmastime.
And that’s why I’m praying you’ll choose to help even more moms and dads in prison send loving reminders to their children—that, despite the separation and loneliness they’re experiencing, they are deeply cherished.
Just imagine the impact your gift—DOUBLED by the matching grant to help TWICE as many children—will make possible!
These precious children will receive not only a Christmas gift on behalf of their parent behind bars, they’ll also get a special note from their mom or dad. And, they’ll hear the Gospel message too—many for the first time.
Give the Gospel ... restore a broken family This Christmas, our goal is to reach more than 300,000 prisoners’ children who are longing to hear from the parent they miss so much.
When you give now, you’ll help twice as many of these children experience the true joy of Christmas and the love of their parents. But more importantly, through your gift of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you’ll begin to restore broken families.
Prisoners and their children need you to bring them hope. Please give now!
