It took some time for Wall Street to get its act together and focus on what's really important for the stock market - earnings. But better late than never.

The fourth-quarter earnings season has gotten off to a very strong start. So far, the companies in the S&P 500 that have reported have posted 7.8% annual sales growth and 21.5% annual earnings growth.

Our own Growth Investor stocks have kicked off the earnings season with better-than-expected results. We've had three Buy List companies release earnings for the latest quarter, and all three topped analysts' earnings estimates. That bodes well for the fourth-quarter earnings season overall. So in today's Weekly Update, we'll look back at the Growth Investor companies that recently reported. I'll also preview four upcoming reports. In addition, I'll share the latest news on a few of our other names.
