See Joker: Folie à Deux in a stunning format

The much-hyped sequel to Todd Phillips’ Oscar-winning villain origin story, Joker is in cinemas now — but there’s only one screen in the whole of Europe where you can watch it in IMAX 70mm print. And it’s right here in London.

Head to BFI IMAX to experience Joker: Folie à Deux on the UK’s largest screen — bigger than eight (8!) double-decker buses. There’s no better way to discover this dark and daring musical spectacular, which sees Joaquin Phoenix return as the titular villain (AKA, failed comedian-turned-nihilistic killer Arthur Fleck) and international superstar Lady Gaga step into the iconic role of Harley Quinn.

If you’ve seen the first film and are scratching your head at the musical element, fret not — Cats, this ain’t. Instead, it offers us a glimpse of the characters’ fantasies and delusions (if you think about it, musicals are actually the perfect vehicle for psychological thrillers).
