Happy leap day, Minnesota 🗓️. It's the last day of meteorological winter and guess what? it's also the warmest on record! We are ending February with temps nearly 15 degrees above normal, and it will only get warmer. Read more on Updraft.

Dan and Julie Giesen married on leap day in 1992 in Fergus Falls and are carrying on their tradition of celebrating their special wedding day, which falls on Feb. 29 every four years.
