According to the amended complaint, the video shows the alleged drunk driver, Steven Frane Bailey, “would have had a clear view of the patio, tables, umbrellas and the numerous individuals seated outside from the time he pulls into the lot and throughout his course of travel.”

Minnesota Frost: PWHL unveils names, logos for league champion and other teams

Minnesota’s Professional Women’s Hockey League team finally has something it didn’t during its run to the league title earlier this year: a name. The Minnesota Frost joins the Boston Fleet, Montreal Victoire, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charge and Toronto Sceptres.

Police say the man collapsed during Sunday’s City of Lakes Half Marathon. He was treated by first responders before being transported to a hospital. Further details on what happened were not immediately available.

“The reasons are complex, but they ultimately boil down to money,” said a statement from the board posted on Facebook. Board chair Amy Derwinski says HUGE held a fundraiser in May that raised about $100,000, but it was not enough to cover expenses, especially after a move to a new location on Lyndale in Uptown that came with unexpected construction costs.

From Sahan Journal: Jaylani Hussein, CAIR-MN’s executive director, wants Lino Lakes to investigate City Council member Chris Lyden for his response to an anti-Muslim email reportedly sent by an out-of-state person. Hussein asked the city to repudiate Lyden’s actions and launch an “ethical review of his conduct.”  
🛰️ James Earl Jones, acclaimed actor and voice of Darth Vader, dies at 93
Jones overcame racial prejudice and a severe stutter to become a celebrated icon of stage and screen — eventually lending his deep, commanding voice to CNN, “The Lion King” and Darth Vader. His agent, Barry McPherson, confirmed Jones died Monday morning at home. The cause was not immediately clear.
