📻 It's debate night. Folks can tune in to the presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris at 8 p.m. on their local MPR station or at mprnews.org.

🌞 Weather-wise, we warm up tomorrow and Thursday for the warmest days of the week: Much of southern Minnesota will be in the upper 80s. This wildfire smoke still won't cause major air quality issues tomorrow, but we’ll keep seeing the occasional haze. Check out Updraft for the latest.
Woman sues Scheels over teen son’s gun death in Eden Prairie store

Sarah Van Bogart's 19-year-old son, Jordan Markie, died by suicide in Scheels’ Eden Prairie store in August 2022. She is now suing the sporting goods retail chain and a store employee, accusing them of negligence.

🛣️  Months after Twin Cities highway closed, repairs to reopen it are set to begin
It’s been more than three months since a state highway in the Twin Cities unexpectedly closed after saturated soil on a hillside gave way, undermining the pavement. But the end of the closure may be in sight.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation says work is set to begin this week to repair that stretch of Highway 13 in Mendota Heights.
