Minneapolis man sentenced to 30 years in murder of trans woman

Damarean Bible, 25, admitted to fatally shooting Savannah Ryan Williams, 38, early in the morning on Nov. 29. He was sentenced Wednesday after a jury found him guilty of second-degree murder in August. “I completely apologize,” Bible said, addressing Williams’ family. “I feel like I do need to sit down and do some time.”

✈️ Minnesota facilities to boost sustainable aviation fuel production
State officials and leaders of several companies across Minnesota say they’re opening multiple production facilities for sustainable aviation fuels, or SAF. The fuel is derived from crops, waste and other biomass, and it’s a key part of airlines’ plans to reduce carbon emissions.
