The summer of massive road construction season continues into the fall

While it’s the end of summer, it's not the end of construction season in Minnesota. Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan Monday highlighted the 193 road and bridge projects underway across Minnesota.

🚗 Weekend crashes on Minnesota roads leave 3 dead, several injured
A 60-year-old woman from Rochester, a 36-year-old man of Harris and a 75-year-old woman died in separate crashes Friday and Saturday. A 63-year-old woman from Menomonie sustained life-threatening injuries. According to the Department of Public Safety, preliminary data through Friday showed there were 309 road fatalities so far in 2024. That compares to 275 through the same time frame in 2023.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, faces charges of possessing a firearm despite a prior felony conviction and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. He did not fire any shots and never had Trump in his line of sight, the Secret Service’s acting chief said.
