Glen Taylor announces that Timberwolves, Lynx are no longer for sale

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx will evidently remain in the control of owner Glen Taylor, after he announced that a deal where Marc Lore and former baseball star Alex Rodriguez would have acquired the controlling stake in the team has expired.

State ‘green bank’ funds its first climate project in St. Paul

Minnesota’s newly established ‘green bank’ announced its first loan this week: $4.7 million for a geothermal energy system at The Heights, an East Side development. The money from this loan will go toward infrastructure for a geothermal system, which will heat and cool the site’s buildings.

🌵 Storm significantly eased Minnesota drought conditions
Our multiday storm system took a big bite out of the drought for central Minnesota. Many areas saw more than 2 inches of liquid-equivalent precipitation. However, 99 percent of the state remains abnormally dry.
