Authorities ID man fatally shot as deputies attempted to serve warrant in Minnetonka

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Clint Hoyhtya, 28, died from multiple gunshot wounds at the home on East Crestwood Drive. The medical examiner said the wounds were not self-inflicted.

Police remove 101 cats from Crosby home

Humane society staff have been working overtime to treat the 93 living cats. One was microchipped and was able to reunite with its owner. “They had been missing their cat for seven years, and they were absolutely thrilled to be reunited with it.”

Total rainfall in the last week was generally less than 1 inch, with some spots around the state recording fractions of an inch. Much of the soil absorbed that moisture, but Minnesota’s drought conditions remained about the same.
