‘Loyal to his oath’: Slain Minneapolis officer remembered for his heroism

Officer Jamal Mitchell, 36, was one of at least three people killed by gunfire in the incident in Minneapolis’ Whittier neighborhood early Thursday evening. The suspected shooter was among the dead. At least four other people, including a police officer and a firefighter, were injured.

Search teams locate body of one of two canoeists missing in Boundary Waters

The body of 41-year-old Jesse Haugen of Cambridge was found by search teams working near Curtain Falls, along the Canadian border, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said. The search will continue for 40-year-old Reis Grams of Lino Lakes.

⚕️ Anxiety and depression rates remain double pre-COVID levels
To wrap up Mental Health Awareness month, we took a look at data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s latest Household Pulse Survey. Our analysis suggests that mental health conditions remain much more prevalent today than they were prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.  
🏒 Star goalie reflects on inaugural PWHL season as Minnesota celebrates historic win
In the inaugural season, Minnesota’s yet-to-be-named Professional Women’s Hockey League team clinched the Walter Cup, shutting out Boston 3-0 in the final game in a best-of-five series on Wednesday. Two-time Olympian Nicole Hensley and her swift goaltending skills — she had an excellent 0.945 save percentage in the postseason — helped lift Minnesota to victory.
