    NATIONAL HEADLINES

President Donald Trump and Democrats are digging in as the partial government shutdown enters its 20th day. Seriously? The Coast Guard has some suggestions for employees who will not be paid during the government shutdown, saying they should hold garage sales, babysit or become dog walkers to supplement their income. Another idea floated was to become a "mystery shopper" - https://wapo.st/2FkTArH

Texas landowners ready to fight Trump's wall. The federal government has started surveying land along the U.S.-Mexico border, but many landowners who would be affected by the wall say they don't want to give up their land - http://bit.ly/2FofFW5
