Newsletter ZEISS Nature Observation
Dear Reader,
Every morning, birds wake up even earlier to deliver their concert. Days get longer again, red kites circle above the heads of Central Europeans and energy revives again among all. Protecting birds and insects becomes more important every year. What we create as small habitats with wild flowers and meadows in our gardens or on the balcony is organized on large scale for habitat conservation by professional bird conservationists. We accompanied birders by profession for our actual newsletter.

Enjoy nature captured in special pictures.
Noam Weiss: Nature saved me
Without experiencing nature in all its diversity life is dreary for many people. But nature accomplishes much more than enriching daily life as the very personal story of Noam Weiss shows. As one of the most important bird conservationists in Israel’s birding hotspot Noam gives nature back what it provided him as shelter in his childhood. Read more about the man who watches the most interesting bird species of the migration period with his Victory SF.

Check of binoculars
Now in spring it is about not to miss any detail. So it is important that the binoculars run reliably and are maintained well. After vacations at the seaside for example sand may affect the focusing wheel. ZEISS representatives take part at many birding festivals and will give your binocular a quick evaluation or help you to change out your old eyecups. Check out our calendar of events at Facebook.com/zeissbirding where the next event near you will take place.
Bird life from a children perspective
The better children know nature the more they will fight for their conservation, Dale Rosselet from New Jersey Audubon is convinced. Her organization manages to fascinate lots of youngsters for bird watching. Emma, 15 years, illustrates impressively how she joined the Young Birders’ Club at the age of only five years old and how bird life looked like through a child’s eyes.
