Monday
1 Peter 1:11
They [the prophets] wondered what Your Spirit, Jesus, within them was talking about when You told them in advance about Your suffering and Your great glory afterward. They wondered when and to whom all this would happen.
Tuesday
1 Peter 1:12
They were told that these things would not happen during their lifetime, but many years later, during Yours. And now this Good News has been announced by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.
Wednesday
1 Peter 1:13

Thursday
1 Peter 1:14
I obey You, God, because I am Your child. I don’t slip back into my old ways of doing evil; I didn’t know any better then.
Friday
1 Peter 1:15, 16
But now I must be holy in everything I do, just as You, God – Who chose me to be Your child – are holy. For You Yourself have said, “You must be holy because I am holy.”
