Monday
James 4:11
I don't speak evil against my dear brothers and sisters. If I criticize and condemn others, then I am criticizing and condemning Your law, God. But I am not a judge who can decide whether the law is right or wrong. My job is to obey it.
Tuesday
James 4:12
You, God, alone, who made the law, can rightly judge me.You alone have the power to save or to destroy. So what right do I have to condemn my neighbor?
Wednesday
James 4:13
Look here, you people who say, “Today or tomorrow I am going to a certain town and will stay there a year. I will do business there and make a profit.”
Thursday
James 4:14
How do I know what will happen tomorrow? For my life is like the morning fog--it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.
Friday
James 4:15, 16What I ought to say is, “If You, Lord, want me to, I will live and do this or that.” Otherwise, I will be boasting about my own plans, and all such boasting is evil.
