Monday
2 Peter 1:3
As I know You, Jesus, better, Your divine power gives me everything I need for living a godly life. You have called me to receive Your own glory and goodness!
Tuesday
2 Peter 1:4
And by that same mighty power, You have given me all of Your rich and wonderful promises. You have promised that I will escape the decadence all around me caused by evil desires and that I will share in Your divine nature.
Wednesday
2 Peter 1:5
So I make every effort to apply the benefits of these promises to my life. Then my faith will produce a life of moral excellence. A life of moral excellence leads to knowing You, God, better.
Thursday
2 Peter 1:6
Knowing You, God, leads to self-control. Self-control leads to patient endurance, and patient endurance leads to godliness.
Friday
2 Peter 1:7
Godliness leads to love for other Christians, and finally I will grow to have genuine love for everyone.
