Hebrews 12:10
For my earthly father disciplined me for a few years, doing the best he knew how. But Your discipline, God, is always right and good for me because it means I will share in Your holiness.

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening–it is painful! But afterward there will be a quiet harvest of quiet living for those who are trained in this way.
