Monday
2 Corinthians 10:8
I may seem to be boasting too much about the authority given to me by You, Lord. But Your authority is to build me up, not tear me down. And I will not be put to shame by having my work for You destroyed.
Tuesday
2 Corinthians 10:9-11
Now this is not just an attempt to frighten anyone. For some say, “Don’t worry about him. His work is demanding and forceful, but in person he is weak, and his speeches are really bad!” The ones who say this must realize that I will be just as demanding and forceful in person as I am in my work.
Wednesday
2 Corinthians 10:12
Oh, don’t worry; I won’t dare say that I am as wonderful as other men who say how important they are! But they are only comparing themselves with each other, and measuring themselves by themselves. What foolishness!
Thursday
2 Corinthians 10:13
I will not boast of authority I do not have. My goal is to stay within the boundaries of Your plan for me, and this plan includes my working with others.
Friday
2 Corinthians 10:14
I am not going too far when I claim authority, for I travel with the Good News of Christ.

3678. People are funny--everyone wants to live a long life, but no one wants to get old.
3679. Middle age is too young for Medicare and too old for men to care.
