Monday
2 Corinthians 1:17
You may be asking why I changed my plan. Hadn’t I made up my mind yet? Or am I like people of the world who say yes when they really mean no?
Tuesday
2 Corinthians 1:18, 19
As surely as You, God, are true, I am not that sort of person. My yes means yes because You, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, never waver between yes and no. You are the One whom Timothy, Silas, and Paul preached, and are the Divine Yes--God’s affirmation.
Wednesday
2 Corinthians 1:20
For all of Your promises, God, have been fulfilled in Christ. That is why we say “amen” when we give glory to You, God, through Christ.
Thursday
2 Corinthians 1:21, 22
It is You, God, Who give us the ability to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and He has identified us as His own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment of everything He will give us.
Friday
2 Corinthians 1:23, 24
Now I call upon You, God, as my witness that I am telling the truth. The reason Paul didn’t return to Corinth was to spare them from a severe rebuke. But that does not mean I want to tell anyone exactly how to put faith into practice. I want to work together with them so they will be full of joy as they stand firm in their faith.
