This letter is from Paul, appointed by God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and from our dear brother Timothy. We are writing to God’s church in Corinth and to all the churches throughout Greece.

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you His grace and peace.

All praise to You, God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ. You are the source of every mercy and the God Who comforts me.

2 Corinthians 1:4
You comfort me in all my troubles so that I can comfort others. When others are troubled, I will be able to give them the same comfort You, God, have given me.

2 Corinthians 1:5
I can be sure that the more I suffer for You, Christ, the more You, Father God, will shower me with Your comfort through Christ.
