“But how?” he asked. Did any of the men he sent to the Corinthians take advantage of them?

When Paul urged Titus to visit the Corinthians and sent his other brother with him, did Titus take advantage of them? No, of course not! For they all had the same Spirit and walked in each other’s steps, doing things the same way.

2 Corinthians 12:19
Perhaps the Corinthians thought they were saying all that just to defend themselves. That wasn’t it at all. They told them this as Your (Christ’s) servants, and they knew that You, God, were listening. Everything they did was for their benefit.

2 Corinthians 12:20
Paul was afraid that when he went back to visit them, he wouldn’t like what he found there, and the Corinthians wouldn’t like his response. He was afraid that he would find quarreling, jealousy, outbursts, of anger, selfishness, back-stabbing, gossip, conceit, and disorderly behavior.
