BLACK ON WHITE CRIME: For years, critics assailed the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office for poor treatment of Black people, and urged the agency to equip deputies with body-worn cameras. But in the first big test of the technology, the Sheriff's Office has arrested two Black deputies who shot and killed a White man in an SUV.
