A weak weather maker will approach from the north and west during the day and will bring our next chance for wet weather. A few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms should be anticipated as this weather maker moves through. Rain and storm chances begin shortly after noon in the mountains. Areas along and west of US-15 are under a 'Marginal' risk for severe storms per the Storm Prediction Center, so damaging winds are possible in storms that develop. A passing shower or rumble of thunder is possible in the D.C. Metro after 4 p.m. It does not look like this weather maker will be a washout by any means, but prepare for a few drops of rain for your late Saturday plans.
