Aside from this, in 2022, a video by TikTok user Kristopher Barsanti (@krisdrinkslemonade) went viral after he informed his boss why his work dropped off after being a top employee. Barsanti said he put in less than average effort as pay was rated “below the median” and deemed “fair market value” for his role previously.
