Indiana, Boise State Back in the Bubble, Texas and Arkansas Face Off in Win or Go Home Game By Brad Wachtel Welcome to the latest edition of Bubble Watch. Last night, unranked Georgia stunned No.3 Florida, winning 88-83, which had a huge impact on the bubble as it put the Bulldogs right on the cut line. I’m anticipating more craziness tonight, with six games that will have a significant impact on who’s in and who’s out. Let’s start off with the teams that need to win in order to remain in the field or jump into the field. First off, it’s Ohio State at USC. The Buckeyes, 15-13 overall, were knocked out of my latest bracket as it’s extremely rare to see a team receive an at-large bid being only two games over .500. However, the Buckeyes still have strong enough wins (at Purdue, Kentucky, Texas), where a win over USC would shift them back into the field. Next we have Texas at Arkansas. Both teams are teetering on the edge of the bubble. Texas is coming off a bad loss to a winless South Carolina team which knocked the Longhorns out of the field. A win at Arkansas would surely put them on the right side of the cut line, while putting the Razorbacks at-large status in doubt. Now that we’ve covered the teams that need to win to get into the field, let’s look at those that will drop out should they lose tonight. First up is Penn State at Indiana.
