Partnership campaign with French online travel agency MisterFlyThis month Tourism Australia launched a partnership campaign with the French online travel agency (OTA) MisterFly. The campaign will run until the end of June with the aim to boost bookings to Australia by promoting tailored, all-inclusive travel packages featuring flights, accommodation deals, and additional services bookable through a dedicated Australia landing page on MisterFly. Utilising a targeted social and display campaign as well as eDMs to drive French high yield travellers to the site and book their Australian adventure. The partnership also includes a business-to-business element directed at travel agents to drive sales for Australia and to educate them on the destination through their Smile Agents program. The incentive offers rewards for every Australia booking made during the campaign period and by looping in the Aussie Specialist Program. |

Delegates were presented the latest business events products from five Australian convention bureaux together with Singapore Airlines. Twenty incentive leads were generated, and the post event survey indicated over 95 per cent satisfaction with the event. |

The Great Barrier Reef Lifetime of Greatness ProjectIn a world-first, the iconic Great Barrier Reef has been nominated as the first non-human recipient for a Lifetime Achievement Award – the highest environmental honour from the United Nations Environment Programme’s Champions of the Earth Awards. Announced on World Earth Day the TTNQ-led Lifetime of Greatness Project nomination is championed by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority’s Reef Guardian Councils. It is a collective effort involving collaboration with the communities of the Great Barrier Reef including Traditional Owners, marine biologists, the tourism industry and Reef Guardian Schools to nominate the World Heritage Area. Koorie Heritage Trust celebrates 40 years of growth, resilience and connectionThe Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT) is celebrating its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of cultural growth, resilience, and deep connection to the First Peoples of Victoria. KHT is a not for profit First Peoples arts and cultural organisation based in Melbourne / Narrm and has been a member of the Discover Aboriginal Experiences collective since 2020. The year-long celebration will include a major retrospective solo exhibition by Aunty Connie Hart (Gunditjmara) opening on 23 August. Other events which highlight the voices of Elders, the community, and individuals who have been pivotal in KHT's story will also be celebrated throughout the year. In 2023, KHT became the only stand-alone Indigenous cultural and arts centre which has become an integral part of the Federation Square and broader Melbourne Arts Precinct.
