Tourism Australia has published presentations from its recent industry briefings in Adelaide on Thursday 10 November and in Sydney on Tuesday 15 November. The Tourism and Transport Forum (TTF) has released its Leadership Summit program, to be held on Wednesday 23 November at Parliament House in Canberra. Ticket pricing has been announced for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. #GC2018 #ShareTheDream Registration is open for ATEC Meeting Place taking place on Tuesday 29th November in Canberra. The Victoria Tourism industry Council has announced the appointment of Brad Ostermeyer as its new chief executive. Destination NSW and online Chinese travel platform Alitrip have forged a new alliance to attract more visitors from China to Sydney and regional NSW. The AusIndustry Entrepreneurs’ Program is now available to tourism businesses operating in Northern Australia as part of the Australian Government’s Northern Australia Tourism Initiative. Tourism Tropical North Queensland have started an industry Facebook page to share information with members and the general public. Jobs Queensland is developing a Queensland Tourism Workforce Plan aimed at ensuring Queensland has a skilled workforce ready to support a growing and thriving tourism industry. The VisitNSW Facebook page has reached more than one million followers and is reaching 19.9 million potential travellers each month. Applications are now open for Tourism WA’s Ni Hao WA 2017 industry event at Crown Perth on Monday 13 March 2017. The Tasmanian Premier and the T21 Steering Committee are hosting a series of short presentations around the state on the progress of the T21 Visitor Economy Strategy after its first 12 months of operation. | ||
