I don't know about you, but I have vicious nightmares if I eat within a few hours of my bedtime. Like, "my entire family is murdered by a madman with a sharp pencil" kind of nightmares. Because of that, I have a rule that I won't snack past 8 p.m. Other people cut off nighttime snacking to prevent stomach aches, weight gain or just plain bad sleep. But sometimes it's just not possible to silence your evening hunger and you MUST eat something.
