ATLANTA: The Georgia World Congress Center has put the final touches on a $55 million expansion, which broke ground in 2018, adding 100,000 square feet of exhibition space. The Exhibit Hall BC project brought the total space available at the downtown venue to more than 1.4 million square feet. CHARLOTTE: The Charlotte Convention Center is undergoing a $126 million expansion, expected to be completed in summer 2021. The overhaul will include 24,000 square feet of pre-function space, 26,000 square feet of breakout space across 15 meeting rooms, a pedestrian bridge linking the new wing of the convention center to the Westin Charlotte hotel, and more.
