After the first 21 months of a program that allowed one electric utility in New Hampshire to install hundreds of batteries in residential homes and switch the customers to time-of-use rates, the program has been deemed a success as it exceeded targets. On average, participants saved 33% on their monthly electricity bills and the system was 79% accurate in discharging during peak demand.
