Happy Thursday! The photo above was taken yesterday taken at one of the best family-friendly farms around, certainly the best one I've ever been to. I keep forgetting it's a long holiday weekend for both the US (Indigenous Peoples' Day) and Canada (Thanksgiving). Normally, we’re celebrating Thanksgiving in Canada with my wife’s family but we aren’t ready to put the kids on a plane during COVID so for now, we’re just traveling locally.
However, I hope it won’t be much longer before we can travel with the kids and I’m especially encouraged after I read a New York Times article, Covid, in Retreat. In today's post are some quotes from the story but it’s definitely worth the two minutes to read it all. And the encouraging news is exactly what the doctor ordered because I’ve had some serious fears lately. Read it all here.
