Tickets on sale now! Venezuelan bassist and composer Gonzalo Teppa presents his new quintet performing original music from his latest album Away From Home. Each composition written by Teppa is inspired by his family and his native country, drawing from the musical wells of contemporary jazz, Latin American music (Venezuelan, Brazilian, and Afro-Cuban), ballads, swing, blues, free jazz, and more. Teppa recorded the album this past June after winning the Pathways To Jazz Grant in 2018. |

Tickets on sale now! Denver saxophonist Daryl Gott and his quintet pay tribute to three of the most singular voices in jazz: Lee Konitz, Warne Marsh, and Lennie Tristano. The interwoven sounds of Konitz and Marsh have left a significant and relatively unexplored landmark in the jazz world. Stemming from the concepts explored by and with their teacher Tristano, their emphasis on melodic ingenuity and technical virtuosity opened the door to a modern and cerebral approach to jazz composition and improvisation, creating a sound that is still fresh to this day. |
