Tickets on sale now! The Denver Philharmonic Orchestra’s fifth season of DPO with a Twist launches on Lunar New Year’s Eve with a medley of chamber music sets featuring DPO musicians. The evening rises with a dynamic brass/sax/piano piece by modern composer James Stephenson. Audience favorite Voice of the Wood, a string sextet led by concertmaster Katherine Thayer, shines on Song to the Moon from Rusalka and other contemporary works featuring Kimberly Brody (principal oboe). The evening sets with the string ensemble performing a bright, new orchestration of Dvořák’s third String Quintet. |
