What a gift. Michigan nature lovers have a new spot to explore in Northern Michigan. The non-profit Little Traverse Conservancy recently dedicated the new L. John & Helen Bishop Working Forest Reserve, a 360-acre preserve in Cheboygan County that includes nearly 1.5 miles of the Little Pigeon River. It's not every day that the public gets such a large, beautiful area to explore. | |

| It's Lovable Michigan, so we're not going to say which is the obvious worst Great Lake for swimming. BUT, we can all agree that it's next to impossible to name the greatest Great Lake. USA Today though, it has ranked Lake Superior above all others. I guess it is right there in the name. USA Today must prefer an icy dunk. | |
