Jazz Fest: Filling in for the Foo Fighters, the Red Hot Chili Peppers played to the largest crowd of the festival’s first weekend Sunday, honoring Taylor Hawkins during their set. Hawkins, the Foo Fighters drummer, died suddenly in March, forcing the band to drop out and the Chili Peppers to take their place.
