The IEC’s national results centre in Pretoria is a hive of activity as voting results have started trickling in from across the country with the ANC showing a lead.
With just under 10% of the vote counted in Gauteng, the ANC was leading with over 120 000 votes, or just over 53% of the vote counted.
The IEC has launched an investigation as it attempts to calm speculations about possible voter fraud with reports of some individuals being able to vote twice.
Results have slowly started trickling into the IEC provincial results centre in Cape Town, after SA participated in the national elections.
