| Happy Friday. The USDA recently said it was looking into changes that would restrict the amount of salmonella bacteria in breaded stuffed raw chicken products — which could further restrict the frozen chicken products that supermarkets would be allowed to sell. But some groups say the change is not based on science or data and it’s a bad idea. In our most recent poll, we asked: We asked: Should the USDA further restrict the amount of salmonella bacteria in breaded stuffed raw chicken products? And you answered: Yes, this is about safety (73%) No, it's a bunch of hooey (24%) Other (3%) -- Have another thought? Weigh in on our LinkedIn poll here, or email the SN staff at contactus@supermarketnews.com . Have a great weekend. WHAT DO YOU THINK? |
