Reviews WEB-FIRST REVIEWS OF BOOKS AND MEDIA Janelle Monáe's debut SFF collection The Memory Librarian: And Other Stories from Dirty Computer "speaks to both the sf tradition of mind-control tyranny and the way that the powerful marginalize individuals in order to control the whole. Matilda’s Secret, by Corina Bomann, is one of this week's starred fiction selections. "Recommended for fans of interwar-era and World War II–era historical fiction, and general historical fiction, especially with a European setting." In social sciences, Rachelle M Smith's Lies: The Science Behind Deception is one of this week's starred titles.
