The Louisiana Oyster Task Force fear the work could cost its members their livelihood, and vow a lawsuit. The current plan calls for diverting enough mud-laden water through a levee on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Plaquemines Parish and rebuild about 28 acres of land in Barataria Bay.
