Good morning and thanks for joining us. Here's a look at some of our top headlines. Citizens relief: Louisiana Citizens customers who have seen their premiums spike should get a much-needed break on rate hikes next year, thanks to a new law temporarily pausing surcharges. But customers in some parishes will still see their costs go up. Sam Karlin explains. Beryl bringing rain: Southeastern Louisiana will see its chance of rain increase significantly on Tuesday, as the trailing moisture of a retreating and weakening Tropical Storm Beryl drapes across the coast. Mark Schleifstein has the forecast. Rebirth: The tide in McDonoghville is changing. The diverse but economically disadvantaged Gretna neighborhood was added to the National Register of Historic Places last year, opening the door for tax incentives and grants. Marie Fazio has this look at what's to come for the oldest neighborhood in Jefferson Parish. We've got plenty more news, entertainment and sports from The Times-Picayune here. Thanks for reading.
