| Attorneys: OxyContin maker agrees to tentative settlement | Attorneys for some 2,000 local governments say they have agreed to a tentative settlement with OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma over the toll of the nation's opioid crisis. Sources with direct knowledge of the talks say that Purdue Pharma, in an agreement with thousands of local governments, will pay up to $12 billion over time. | Following Tuesday tornadoes, Sioux Falls to fix alert system | Sioux Falls mayor Paul TenHaken says some parts of the city did not hear sirens as winds topping 90 miles an hour roared through town and multiple tornadoes damaged dozens of buildings and vehicles.
