Summer is Sizzling!

Grades of Green celebrated the culmination of our SOAR Eco-Innovation Academy at our second annual Sustain-a-Thon at Subaru Pacific, our dedicated longtime partner. Students and corporate partners came together at this exciting event that showcased the innovative projects our SOAR students have been developing over several months.

Our corporate partners were blown away by the creativity and innovative sustainability plans that our SOAR students developed! Two students were awarded scholarships with the support of Subaru Pacific and Ateliere. Thank you to our fantastic 2023-2024 SOAR corporate partners – Subaru Pacific, Northrop Grumman, Beyond Meat, Turner Construction, Build California, and Further Products – for their unwavering support for sustainability and their time and efforts in developing the next generation of environmental leaders!

Our SOAR Eco-Innovation Academy kicked off the 2024-2025 year with an exciting SOAR-ientation at the Beyond Meat headquarters! With Chef D and the Beyond Meat team, they cooked up delicious, plant-based meals, discovering firsthand how fun and tasty sustainable eating can be!

Beyond Meat CEO, Ethan Brown, shared insights into the environmental impact of eating meat, inspiring our students to see how plant-based diets contribute to a healthier planet, body, and mind! With their culinary creations, they proved that eating plant-based isn't just healthy—it's also incredibly delicious!
